1. Embassy Exhibition at the Teaching Africa Day-13 September 2024

The Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Washington, D.C exhibited at the 9^th edition of Teaching Africa Day which was hosted at the Smithsonian Institution’s Art and Industry Building in Washington DC, USA on 13 September 2024. The event was held under the theme, “Storytelling through the ages: Past, Present and Future”.

Zimbabwe had the opportunity to tell its own story, the unique heritage and culture, from our dances, the ‘Jerusarema mbende and muchongoyo’ amongst others. The Embassy also took the opportunity to interact with the market through promoting Zimbabwe’s top destinations and encouraging participants to visit.

2. Embassy exhibits at the “Art All Night”- 27 September 2024

The African Union Mission in Washington DC organised an “Art All Night” event organised by the African Union for Embassies to showcase their destinations to participants. The Embassy of Zimbabwe in Washington, D.C exhibited at the event, showcasing the top destinations in Zimbabwe from the Majestic Victoria Falls, Great Zimbabwe, our pristine wildlife and nature to the outstanding mountainous landscapes in the Eastern highlands.

Indeed, it was a great opportunity interacting and engaging with visitors who showed great interest to visit our country. Zimbabwe; we are known to celebrate through music and dance and our warmth hospitality makes us a unique destination for the USA market.
