Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between ZIDA and IMPI Inc.

The Investments in Manufacturing Production and Infrastructure referred to as the IMPI project, is a multibillion-dollar project whose scope incorporates the construction of a biotechnology city in Zimbabwe, including ancillary infrastructure such as schools, houses, amenities, and a hotel for the healthcare industry. The project is being promoted by a consortium of at least 20 USA based companies, led by Dr Tawanda Gumbo, a Zimbabwean.

On the 22^nd of September 2023, an MOU for this project was signed between ZIDA and the IMPI, inevitably moving the project into the implementation phase.
