LIFTING OF COVID-19 CONTAINMENT MEASURES AT ZIMBABWE’S PORTS OF ENTRY

The Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe wishes to inform that the Government of Zimbabwe has lifted all COVID-19 containment measures, including the mandatory wearing of face masks, with effect from 9 May 2023.

The above follows the declaration by the World Health Organization (WHO) that COVID-19 no longer constitutes a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. The Embassy therefore wishes to advise all travelers to Zimbabwe that they are no longer required to produce COVID-19 vaccination certificates and PCR tests at all Zimbabwe’s ports of entry or other public facilities across the country.
