DISPENSING CONSULAR SERVICES

It has come to the attention of the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Washington D.C. that certain Zimbabwean individuals and/or groups are misinforming Zimbabwean nationals resident in the United States that the Embassy has discontinued dispensing consular services and consular outreach programs in the States outside Washington D.C. one reason or the other. We dismiss these falsehoods and strongly appeal to those groups/persons to immediately desist from spreading such unfounded disinformation.

We further advise all prospective applicants for consular services that the Embassy will continue to avail these services and will publish the dates and the venue for the upcoming outreaches on our website.

We therefore urge Zimbabwean nationals to ignore messages from the so-called “agents for consular services and individuals” regarding the Embassy’s consular outreach programs.

For any clarification regarding consular services, we encourage you to contact the consular office within our Embassy to avoid being misled and duped of your hard-earned money.
