NOTICE OF CHANGES ON VALIDITY OF TEMPORARY TRAVEL DOCUMENTS (TTD) AND REVIEW OF ENTRY PRIVILEGES

The Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe wishes to inform that the Registrar General’s Office has, forthwith, effected the following measures on the validity and entry privileges of Temporary Travel Documents:

1. Validity Period: Temporary Travel Documents will now be issued with a validity period of one (1) month only.
2. Entry Restrictions: Temporary Travel Documents will now be allowed a single-entry to the specific country where the applicant intends to travel, including the countries in the transit route, unless the Registrar General instructs otherwise.

These changes have been put in place in order to encourage citizens to apply for passports that have more secure biometric features and do not have entry restrictions.
